We love kitchen remodeling
It is the one room in the house that is used every single day AND can be seen from almost every space on the first floor. Most clients spend many years thinking of their new kitchen before they even contact us. Years and years of living in the old space teaches you what changes you must make to be happy.
This gorgeous Kitchen belongs to Patty & Paul Minta. Patty was very specific about the changes she wanted in this new space. Soffits out, taller upper cabinets and white cabinetry.
The biggest change was to the island. They original design was a typical “C” shape that really isn’t as functional as it could be. Space is tight and storage is questionable. The new island needed to have enough prep space for entertaining, storage all around and an elevated eating area so finished food could be kept away from food being prepared.
The cabinets chosen were Shiloh in Maple wood using a Richmond full overlay door in a painted Artic white finish. Steel Gray granite countertops and a Kohler sink and faucet perfectly compliment the white cabinets. The soffits were removed, new lighting was installed to the ceiling, a hand-selected black & white tile was used as a backsplash and commercial appliances (including a steam oven) were installed.
