Classic, Elegant Master Bath Update in Aurora
Cool and calming, the colors chosen in this space are beautifully grounded by the finish the homeowners selected on the cabinets. The Woodharbor Breeze vanity and vanity wall cabinet are made of cherry wood, and finished in a deep, appealing Java finish.
The look is reminiscent of fine antique furniture, and the cabinetry details are what make the difference. The large crown molding provides a strong anchor and helps break up the long lines of this bathroom. The homeowners’ choice of Woodharbor’s premium construction, and Asbury door style ensure their vanity’s look stands out, and the Manor raised drawers also add a quietly sophisticated touch. J&J maximized the bathroom storage with an additional countertop unit, keeping toiletries at hand, but out of sight.
Topping off the deep cherry wood hues, the quartz vanity countertop is made of HanStone Italian Waves. It’s a neutral grey with just enough graining and pattern to add life to bathroom surfaces. The dual sinks are Kohler Caxton Oval, with Kohler Devonshire fixtures in Polished Chrome. The color and finish blend perfectly with the cabinet pulls.
The other side of this master bath has been devoted to the fine art of bathing! After painting the walls in Benjamin Moore’s Pebble Beach, a soft grey, J&J went to work on the bath transformation.
The oversized shower has it all! The upgraded 1/2” thick shower glass keeps everything looking airy. With little details like corner shelves and a towel bar handle combo, it guarantees a luxury shower experience every morning.
Walls and floor are finished out in Eon Carrara Matte tile for easy care and a sophisticated look. Up on the wall, a Kohler showerhead in a complementary Devonshire Polished Chrome style keeps it sleek and functional.
Relaxing soaks are now possible in a Kohler Mariposa 66″x36″ tub. The surrounding tiles match the shower seat and other floor covering. The coordinating Kohler faucets are a classic look – Devonshire Polished Chrome. Floor tile throughout the newly remodeled space is the same Eon Carrara matte-finish tile in a 12” x 24” size and a bullnose trim.
The end result – a private master bathroom retreat in creamy grey tones, anchored with just the right amount of classicism.
