Full Basement Bathroom Addition

Homeowners agree: a basement bathroom is absolutely worth it. Not only does adding a bathroom to your basement turn an otherwise unused space into a functional living area, but there is a return on your investment if you decide to sell down the line. When done well, basements provide an additional entertaining and living space, and adding a bathroom allows guests to enjoy the convenience of not having to trek up and down the stairs.
Bathroom vanities offer counter space, storage, and a place to house a faucet and hide plumbing. Often the focal point of a bathroom, the vanity should tie all elements of the space together.
Here you’ll see a granite countertop in Colonial White. This color is light and bright while creating some visual interest. There is more than enough room for a guest to put a few personal toiletries.
You’ll notice the centerset vanity faucet is brushed nickel and offers lever handles. This is a classic design sure to compliment a variety of bathroom decors.
The vanity sink is Kohler’s Caxton Oval in White. This simple design offers a sleek integrated basin that works well with any countertop design.
We love the pop of cool color seen in this Breeze with Belmond door style. These cabinets offer soft close doors and drawers, making it both attractive and user-friendly.
Cool neutral paint colors the bathroom walls. This is Benjamin Moore’s Regal brand in Sterling. This basement bathroom boasts a low threshold walk in shower, making it the full package for these homeowners and their guests.
While it’s not often thought of as the most glamorous component of a bathroom, this Kohler Highline toilet in White is classic. It boasts a comfort height with an elongated two-piece chair and powerful flushing.
Step inside this bright and beautiful shower and you’ll find 12×24 wall tile and a shower niche, both finished in Zera Annex Bianco. A shower niche is a must-have storage solution for anyone looking to maximize space and minimize clutter.
Shower plumbing is also Kohler, Devonshire model in Polished Chrome. This shower trim includes a showerhead with air-induction spray. By infusing two liters of air per minute, this delivers a powerful spray that offers fuller water drops. Delightful!
