Primary Bathroom Glow-Up in Aurora

Renovating your primary bathroom not only allows you to reimagine your space, update finishes, and examine layout, it can also add to your property value in a significant way. Homeowners want a primary bathroom that is functional and beautiful. And homebuyers want to see an updated space when on the hunt for their perfect house.

This Aurora family had ample square footage to work with, and the layout worked for them; however, it was in dire need of a facelift. Enter our dedicated team. The result? A stunning, spacious primary bathroom that will serve them well for years to come.

This bathroom offers a corner counter set up. Before renovation there was some unusable space. The cabinetry was dark, the vanity was low, the mirrors were outdated, and the countertop needed replacing.

We installed comfort height cabinets in the Bertch Osage door style with a Driftwood finish. These cabinets boast soft close doors and drawers, making early mornings quiet for the rest of the family. We selected polished chrome hardware also from Bertch.

The countertop, shower corner foot rest and shower sill are all HanStone Tofino. We love working with Hanstone for its durability and variety of designs.

Take a look at the new vanity sinks. Both the sink and faucet were furnished by Kohler. You’ll notice the sink is the Caxton design, Oval, in White. This undermount sink is versatile, attractive and simple. The polished chrome faucet is a Devonshire single handle faucet that combines a classic look with the ease of a single faucet handle.

The original tub was a typical bulky feature, popular a few decades back. Current homeowners are ditching the surrounded tub and opting for clean, standalone tubs instead.

This tub is a Sterling Spectacle Oval Freestanding tub in White. Combining luxury with practicality, the oval, ergonomic design conforms to and supports your body as you stretch out and enjoy a deep, relaxing soak. With its gracefully shaped lines and generous bathing depth, this versatile bath complements a wide range of bathroom styles and offers easy installation.

The tub deck plumbing as well as the shower plumbing are also Kohler Devonshire in Polished Chrome. This traditional style complements the vanity faucets, ensuring everything ties together nicely.

The shower sliding door is a Kohler Revel.

The main floor tile as well as shower tile, niche finish, and tub area walls are Provence Alsace 12×24. The shower floor is the same product in 2×2 tiles. The color is a neutral backdrop, allowing homeowners to utilize a variety of accent colors. Here we’ve selected Benjamin Moore Regal brand in Marble White OC-34 for the walls.

The shower corner shelves are Schluter Wave in Greige and are a must-have when considering shower storage. All those bottles occupy space, and shelves offer a nice way to display them.
