SHOW STOPPING KITCHEN REMODEL IN NAPERVILLE

There are three things that are certain: DEATH, TAXES, and—your KITCHEN will eventually need to be updated and remodeled! Recently we completed an amazing Kitchen Transformation (it’s more than just a remodel) for a client in the White Eagle subdivision in Naperville.  Expanding the space wasn’t a viable option so we accepted the challenge of creating a showstopper Kitchen within the existing walls.  The primary focus of the project—the ultra-high-end appliances.  A 60” Wolf Commercial range with matching stainless-steel hood became the centerpiece of the Kitchen, along with a beautiful, stainless steel, side-by-side Sub-Zero fridge. Add to that, a high-tech drawer microwave built into the island along with a steam oven, and, we can all agree this Kitchen is a chef’s dream come true!

When designing a Kitchen of this quality, cabinetry is obviously critical.  A gorgeous Shiloh Maple cabinet wearing Manchester doors and finished with a hand applied Ivory paint was selected to complement the appliances.   It was decided to extend the upper cabinets to the 9’ ceiling by using what is called a “stacked cabinet”.  This makes the Kitchen appear much larger. The cabinets were outfitted with all the “must-haves” such as soft close doors and drawers, 5-piece drawer fronts, roll-out trays, hidden trash, and recycling unit and paneled ends on all exposed cabinets.  We even managed to work in a Butler’s Pantry area.  The cabinets were topped off with stunning Luna Pearl granite countertops and all the hardwood flooring was refinished to complement the finished project.  A large Pella Designer series window with in-between-the-glass blinds was installed over the sink and new LED can lights were installed in the ceiling to “light up” the room.
